ACCP Virtual Poster Symposium Information
How is the abstract submission process different for virtual poster presentations?

The abstract submission process is identical to the submission process for all ACCP meetings and should follow the Guide to Writing an Abstract. Each author submits his or her abstract by the posted deadline on the ACCP abstract submission page. Once each abstract has been submitted to ACCP, it will undergo ACCP’s peer-review process.

My abstract has been accepted; what is next?

After your abstract has been accepted for presentation at ACCP’s Virtual Poster Symposium, you will be invited to go to the Speaker’s Corner webpage and requested to provide the following information by the dates shown on the Speaker’s Corner webpage.

Please note that although ACCP tries to accommodate presenters with their preferred date, ACCP cannot accommodate every request.

Each poster presenter will be notified of when he or she is scheduled to present. Also contained in this e-mail will be instructions about how to log in as a presenter during the time and on the date assigned.

How does a virtual poster presentation work?

Each poster presenter logs in to the poster Web site (details to be provided via email) by his or her Skype name. See an example. Attendees of the Virtual Poster Symposium will then visit posters, and each presenter will present his or her poster and/or answer questions as he or she would during a live meeting.
